Archival Materials transferred

Ensemble Modern has transferred archival materials from the first ten years of its existence, from 1980 to 1990, to the Institute for the History of Frankfurt. The written materials, sound recordings and photographs were handed over during the launch of a long-term collaboration of both institutions. »We are delighted that the materials documenting an institution that is so important for the recent cultural and musical history of Frankfurt are now becoming part of our collection«, says Dr. Kristina Odenweller, interim director of the Institute for the History of Frankfurt and director of its Collections department. The transfer ensures that the archival materials will be stored in suitable conditions and can be made available.
