2024 Young Ensemble Academy

From August 3 to 11, 2024, the second edition of the Young Ensemble Academy, presented by Ensemble Modern and the International Ensemble Modern Academy, takes place. Five young ensembles, ranging from a trio to a sextet, from Great Britain, Greece, the Netherlands and Germany will work on 20[sup]th[/sup]- and 21[sup]st[/sup]-century compositions, with Ensemble Modern offering coaching sessions and workshops. The results of their work will be presented in concerts in Offenbach and Frankfurt, including the world premiere on August 11 of the commissioned work ›country radio‹ by the American composer Katherine Balch, which unites all the participants and Ensemble Modern on stage.
