Spring Concerts

After successful appearances at the Into The Open Festival in Berlin and the impuls Festival in Graz, the IEMA-Ensemble 2024/25 now presents its Spring Concerts to the Frankfurt audience. At the Frankfurt Academy of Music and Performing Arts, works by well-known composers such as Philippe Hurel, Sarah Nemtsov, Pierre Boulez, Rebecca Saunders, Georg Friedrich Haas, Liza Lim and Jörg Widmann will be performed, but also rising young composers: thus, there will be the German premiere of the work ›poisoning in the field, among the grains‹ by the current IEMA composer Yuheng Chen, after the highly successful recent world premiere in Graz. Over the past months, he has developed this work in close collaboration with his instrumental colleagues among the IEMA fellows.
