Subscription concert at the Alte Oper Frankfurt

Brigitta Muntendorf and Hainbach are two composers featured on the programme of the next subscription concert; both are known for working with unconventional sound sources. In ›Melencolia‹, Brigitta Muntendorf unfolds spectacular 3D audio landscapes. The audience is guided through familiar yet surreal soundscapes, following a stream of instrumental and electronic music. The evening features the world premiere of the ›Melencolia Suite‹. The experimental artist and YouTube personality Hainbach creates »fantastical« vintage soundscapes using discarded studio equipment and nuclear technology. His work ›Übersetzungsverstärker - Eco della Traduzione‹ will also have its world premiere. During the intermission, the OPEN FOYER offers an opportunity to talk to the evening’s protagonists.
